Your pledge brings hope. United Way agencies helped 322,837 people get on their feet in 2006 by promoting financial stability and independence and by providing adult education, employment services and resettlement assistance.

Missouri 2-1-1

2-1-1Missouri 2-1-1 is an expanded information and referral helpline for health and human services. It now covers more than 9 out of 10 people across the state of Missouri. Partnering with 10 other United Ways, and with funding from the Missouri Foundation for Health, Missouri 2-1-1 will cover all regions of Missouri not already covered by the United Way in Kansas City, Mo.

Dial 2-1-1 to reach our trained referral specialists 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you are calling from Illinois or your cell phone, please call toll-free 1-800-427-4626 to reach the 2-1-1 call center.

The United Way funds nearly 200 health and human service agencies located throughout a 16-county area in Missouri and Illinois. More than one million people in our bi-state community receive services that strengthen families, help the elderly, keep children healthy and safe, and build stronger neighborhoods.
